In a system there are forces that change often. If I were to go back in time i would tell my self that understanding the forces is easy. Kinetic energy is when there is an acceleration in any direction. Internal energy is when something heats up or gets cooler so it is a temperature change. Elastic Potential energy is when something is sprung up and is forced upwards. And Gravitational potential energy is when it can go down and is attracted to the earth. The experiment that we did today with the toy spring really helped me understand the different forces.
