Science This Week

This week in science class i learned many things. I learned how a laser pointer dot gets to the wall that you see the dot on. The laser goes in a straight beam of light and when it hits any object it bounces of and reflects into every ones eyes. If the beam hits an object in mid-air the beam will show in the air. I also learned that if you are in a pitch black room and you waited for your eyes to adjust to the darkness so you could read a sign they would not adjust. You have to have a light source for your eyes to adjust to anything. And the last thing i learned in class was that when a light bulb is lite up that there aren't separate rays coming from the light bulb it is just one big ring of light that the bulb gives off. To test this we are going to put a piece of tape on the bulb and check if there is light on the wall where the tape should be and if there is light then we can conclude that there are rays of light coming from multiple directions on the bulb. Those were the main topics in class and that was what i learned during the week.
