Science Class Week 2

In Science this week we continued on our study of light. We started off by completing our tests from last week. We put a whole in a piece of cardboard and put the light behind the cardboard and checked what was on the wall behind it. When we did the experiment the light on the wall was in the shape of a dot but it was very hard to see. So we tried it again but instead of putting a dot in the cardboard we put a bigger whole in the shape of a triangle to see if we could see a triangle of light on the wall. After we did it we saw that when the light was behind the triangle you could not see a triangle, it was just a big dot again.

The next thing we did was go back to lasers and we tried to come up with a reason why you can see the laser dot on the wall if you are pointing it in a mirror. We came up with the conclusion that when you point the laser at the mirror the lasers rays bounce off at an angle and reflect on to the wall of ceiling. Those where most of the main topics on what we did in class over the week.
